Break/fix work orders can be added by service managers, dispatch staff or via customer portals through emails, phone calls and interfaces to customer systems. Custom work order forms can be designed within Fieldpoint for each individual/facility/scenario. Subcontractors and technicians can use the Fieldpoint mobile application (available for download in both Apple and Google’s app stores) or the vendor portal to update work orders. Work order invoicing can be done in batches. All closed work orders are included in the batch and invoiced.

Fieldpoint supports a single version of the mobile app for all lines of business. This way sub-contractors and technicians will follow the same process regardless of the work being performed. Each task can have a different checklist that will guide the sub-contractor through the steps they need to perform. Subcontractors can use the mobile app or vendor portals to change the status of work orders, complete them and record parts used. With FP Mobile App, vendors will be able to see if any new work orders have been assigned and they will be able to accept it using the mobile app.
